The client required a solution with a simplified user experience that could operate across various business lines, reducing the need for separate systems that at the time, were not integrated or communicating with each other.

The Challenge
Numis Securities are one of the UK’s leading independent institutional stockbrokers and corporate advisers. They enable companies to access capital to drive growth and achieve their ambitions. Since 2009 they have raised over £10bn for their clients.

Recognised as one of the leading providers of capital for UK listed companies, they needed a very visually appealing cross platform app for their high net worth clients.

The app needed to show a personalised portfolio that was up to date and functioned without a network connection. Further to this, it required timely updates via push notifications and links to a number of different public and private financial feeds.

The Solution
Our solution was a Xamarin Forms application with connections to Microsoft Azure, Azure Notification Hub and oAuth.
We maximised the apps usability, to ensure our clients would not have to waste time working out how to use the app, and could instead be fully engaged with their business activities. We provided pixel accurate graphics and securely integrated the app with a number of live - but at the time sporadic - API's.
The Result
The company delivering the application were a digital agency with experience in web design only. TeraVista were able to provide expertise in the creation of the mobile application and API integration.
